With Dr. Michael Vaughn, you have access to decades of experience in clinical genetic and genetic counseling — and a genuine passion for patient education and care.
Michael P. Vaughn, PhD, MD
Physician — Board Certified Allergist & Immunologist
Dr. Vaughn was awarded an NIH-sponsored Educational grant to study Microbiology and Immunology at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) and received his PhD in 1983. His graduate studies included both Classroom education and hands-on Experience in both Human Genetics and Molecular Genetics. In 1987, he received his Medical degree from MCV. He has practiced medicine as a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician and a Board-certified Emergency Room Physician. After additional Fellowship training at UT Health in San Antonio, Dr. Vaughn received a third Board Certification and has practiced since 2004 as an Allergy & Immunology Specialist. In addition to providing Medical Genetics Consultations, he and Dr. Adrianne Vaughn currently offer a "Concierge" Primary Care Service that integrates an individual's genetics into their Preventive health/care planning. *www.MDVIP.ai
